The Tea Dragon Society is an adorable book and a fantastic concept! The illustrations are beautiful and the characters are well defined. I really love the theme of working to preserve traditions that are being forgotten as they're phased out of common use. I originally read this as a library book, and I'm planning on purchasing it to be able to spend more time pouring over the illustrations and rereading. I plan on reading the other two books in the series.

This book is a gentle and calming read about friendship, memories, and about caring for those you love. The illustrations are delightful and I look forward to the other books in this series.

This was such a cute book. I read it in less than 30 minutes but it was so cozy and nice, and made me feel very relaxed. I highly recommend it, especially if you want a short, cozy read with an adorable concept. Can't wait to read more in the series.

I think I appreciated this even more the second time around and I stand by what I wrote then:

Because the story is so short, just read the synopsis here on Goodreads and if it sounds interesting to you or if you like the art style of the book cover, go ahead and read it. I really can't believe I'm saying this, but It's. So. Goddamn. Cute! It's (almost too) sweet (for my dark little heart) and truly stunning and colourful in every sense and I wish I could live in that teahouse in the woods! 🏳️‍🌈☕🌿🧁🐉

And now, go read it, it's such a treat - you're welcome!

This was so cute and the art is beautiful!! After reading this, you’ll likely want a tea dragon of your own or at least a nice cup of tea.

It’s a short and sweet story, set in a fantastical town with goblins, humans, and dragons living alongside each other and learning different crafts. There are some flashbacks with mild violence but ultimately it’s a very low stakes story filled with lovely characters, so something calm to sink into.

I really love the art style too. It’s so detailed and colourful and whimsical, perfect for this kind of story. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series so I can be immersed in this world again.

This is a rich, well-explored world, accompanied by beautiful artwork and an engaging, gentle story. Learning about the tea dragons was a delight, and I loved the inclusion of the informative entry at the end. The book was structured by season, which I felt was engaging and fun. The artwork for each chapter break was adorable.

I also enjoyed following the characters on their journeys; learning about their pasts, presents and futures. Each relationship felt developed, even in the short time we got to know about it. The arching message in the story is well-conveyed, and something I hold close to my heart. It left me with a warm, nostalgic feeling as I saw the final double page spreads.

I hope to get hold of the sequel soon.
