It took me a really long time to get into this book. That might be a personal problem with just me. But overall the book was very good.

It does end a bit unfinished so if you are someone that doesn’t like cliff hangers or cliff hangers ish I would have the second book ready to start. 

The whole concept was very interesting and I do think it was well done I just felt like the first 25% was boring to me. The 50% and on was amazing.

4.5/5 stars ⭐️ only reason I knock it down a little tiny bit is because I just wish more romantic tension had been built between Koffi and Ekon.

As for everything else I loved this book so much, the world building was so fun and interesting to get into. The concept of the jungle was captivating and completely drew me in. I loved the characters Koffi was an excellent protagonist and Ekon is so sweet and in touch with his emotions. I love to see it ❤️

The ending hurt my soul but at the same time I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book, I can’t wait
