I really enjoyed to seeing this side of Warner and hopefully judging by ending he will become an asset and not remain an enemy.
Aaand the worst father of year award goes tooooooooo: Aaron Warner's father. Holy damn.
I enjoyed this novella so much more than Shatter Me. Probably because Aaron Warner is infinitely more interesting than Juliette and being in his head is just much less exhausting.

There were times I could not contain the emotions warner projected in this novella, you could feel every one of them, i wanted to know why he was obsessed over Juliette and he describes it so well, this is why i love different povs cuz i was right there with him, every feeling, all of the hate and messed up relationship with his father, the many many scars, the power and responsibility he already has only being 19. Loved it. If the next following books are as good as this little novella, you’all gonna be sick of me
