Ms. Powell creates a cast of characters worth spending time with. I especially liked Adam Keller - a good guy with the willingness to do what it takes to save a life. This book was a mix of sci-fi, romance and suspense. And it definitely kept my attention and kept me turning the pages until early morning. The romance was an integral part of the story, but even if you're not a romance reader, I think this fast-paced, plot driven novel will keep you entertained. It was tightly written, suspenseful and I found no issues with the editing. All in all an enjoyable read. Plus, the alien is a great character as well. I would enjoy reading another novel with Ms. Powell's wonderfully creative aliens in it. (Note: I was given a copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.)
