The story was good, however it didn’t end the way I would have liked it to. It was solely based on secondary characters instead of Cal and Mendax. I didn’t get the HEA that I was looking for in their story. There was one, but not what I wanted.

This entire series was so much fun to read. I've always really enjoyed Eli so getting an entire book almost completely in his POV was the perfect way to end this series in my opinion. This book had me cackling throughout - like from page 1 it was hilarious and I was hooked. Time passes differently in Tartarus than it does in seelie which offered a unique perspective since we got to follow Eli along on his journey but we also got an expedited POV and story line from Caly and Mendax. As goofy as the story was a times there is still a good amount of serousness and growth as Eli and his friends navigate the 10 tiers of Tartarus. I'm sad the series is over but I feel like this book ended it all perfectly!

Eli’s story was beautifully done with so much character depth and emotion. The found family, the trials, the development were perfection.
I missed Mendex and Caly being the center but their story was completed in book 3.
