Kafka beautifully and stoically describes the toll that firm and authoritarian parenting has on children. He does not hold back against his own father’s psychological undermining that he had to endure growing up. Makes you think about the relationship you have with your own parents.
My only issue with this book was the fact that at times it felt like the author was repeating himself. Though, can you really blame him?
