the prose can be confusing but the use of manipulating syntax is great towards the flow. virginia woolfe is a genius and ahead of her time for exploring the depths of the human soul during english society and how superficial everything was back then. i love the blended themes of social criticism to mortality to identity and perception- who is clarissa dalloway??

A difficult read for me, at times those sentence fragments made me lie down. Nonetheless, the characters are so brilliant in their flaws, I felt as if I was reading the DSM.
