These books are all great, and I could write so much positive about them. I wish I could take some part of a star away though for Lewis' somewhat retrograde of women. And although not a trivial point, there is so also so much wonderful about this story. Puddleglum is a gem that my children adored.

This one had a bit more social commentary in it, and made its Christian sensibilities more obvious-- making a whimsical argument for faith. I liked it better than the last two books.

BOOK FIFTY OF 2024!!!! WE DID IT! thank you to cs lewis for the final stretch getting to lie in reminders of good vs evil, the power of imagination and whimsy, and the authority of the great lion. xoxoxo
