mi favorito hasta ahora, después del primero obvio. más que nada porque los personajes no me terminan de gustar. bastante ligero y fácil de leer, es entretenido a diferencia de prince caspian y the voyage of the down trader que son más pesados y medio confusos.
Right before the new year I decided to read all the Chronicles of Narnia. As a kid I read the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe and loved it, I'm not sure why I never moved on to the other books. for the most part I have been enjoying this journey. My only issue with this and the other books in the Narnia series that I have read is that some lines show that CS Lewis beliefs about what woman should and should not do are very much in line with those of the time the books were written. From regarding the the head of the fictional school the children attend in our world as being hysterical, to implications that girls preforming the same tasks as boys are some how degrading themselves (this is more apparent in The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe). Those asides often take me out of the story I was other wise enjoying.
I would say this is worth a read but I'd put it (and the other Narnia books) in the problematic faves category. If my child were to read these I would want to have a discussion with them about those aspects of the book, and how times and views have (and haven't) changed etc.

This was a really great and enjoyable read. This was about two characters, Jill and Eustace, are called back to Narnia to help free a prince of Narnia from evil and enchantment. This book has adventure and a quest. These characters go into a setting that resembles Hell in today’s world. This book continues the series following Prince Caspian and the Voyage of the Dawn Treader. The imagery and creativity of this book and series is just amazing. The characters are fun and the adventure/task is very interesting. This was very powerful read and I can’t wait to finish this series with The Last Battle.
This was the first Narnia book I've read without knowing a bunch of stuff prior. Puddleglum was my favorite character and definitely upped the rating for this book.
