It has been some years since my last reading of The Silver Chair, and I am certain that my enjoyment of the story has only grown with age. Many times I found myself deeply moved and close to tears.

Thanks to the 1990 BBC movie version of the book that I watched as a child, visualizing the landscape through both imagination and memory was a pleasant experience—almost like reopening an old gift that one had nearly forgotten, yet has not aged.

Dear Lewis. What gifts he has given us in these Narnian tales!

One of the better installments in the series so far. I like Jill, Puddleglum, and the quest plot.
