Personally, I think this book is very much overrated but its understandable why it's appealing to such a large audience.

First and foremost Colleen Hoover, you are amazing!
This book took me on a rollercoaster of emotions and once I picked up the book I never wanted to put it down. I wanted to read more on how everything would turn out for Lily. In my head in certain parts of the book,(no spoilers), I would repeat the words “just keep swimming” in hopes that it would help her. Honestly, Lily is one the strongest characters in this entire book. Dealing with heartbreak, closing doors, and ending cycles this made her to be the most selfless person. While my romantic side would have loved to read more about Lily’s love life after this book. I know in a way Lily did find love, she began to love herself after her decision at the end.
Can’t wait for the film!! ☺️

I expected to hate this book but wanted to read it before seeing the film adaptation. I ended up appreciating the book, but would not reread. The epilogue about the author’s personal connection to the story added a lot for me.
