If you are looking for a read with a lot of feels and emotions, this book is for you. I found it a refreshing change of pace for me. Lennon and Noah have a chemistry that is hot and beautiful. This chance meeting leads Lennon, the daughter of a famous actress and the Vice President nominee's daughter to the love of her life. Noah, a single dad with a past he is still dealing with does his best to try and resist her, but they are meant to be. I love single father stories, and Noah is just so sweet with his daughter, Nova. This combination of characters, along with the supporting cast of Mikey and Charlotte complete the warm and fuzzy feelings that happen in Heaven, Texas. But in Washington DC and Hollywood, things are not so warm and fuzzy. When Lennon's past catches up with her, is Noah able to put it aside? You will have to give this book a listen. This couple will win your heart, but the real star is Nova. She is so cute and adorable, you root for her happily ever after.

Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross give a flawless narration. These two can narrate anything and draw you into that world when you are listening. It is like you are one of the characters right along with the story. Love this team!

4.5 stars of super sweetness

First and foremost, I'm going to be rude but...this cover...Hello Good looking!! Seriously, I have been putting off reading the book because the cover was too hot. I was so afraid that I would be let down. Obviously, I was on something strong. (Vicks Vapo Rub cleared that right up.)

I know it's vain to judge a book by its cover but that cover is the stuff dreams are made of.

Cleary, K.L. looks some notes from Nova's favorite movies. If ever there was a Prince, Noah would definitely be on my wish list. Best of all, he's real. He makes mistakes. He does stupid things. He has his head lodged so far up his backside...Sorry just venting!

He's human. Noah isn't perfect. The proof is that he wants nothing to do with Lennon. Clearly not perfect if he keeps pushing her away, human is more like it.

But both Lennon and Noah have pasts that have colored their present in not so rosy glasses. They are both trying to live. They just didn't realize how much trying was happening without succeeding.

A life without love...

So pull your head out of your backside! TBR, One Click, and then read The Truth About Lennon. You will finish it with a smile in your heart, possible puffy eyes, and a potential new friend.

P.S. Charlotte is my new bestie and I'm stealing Mikey.

Wow

This book completely blew me away. I have read every book by this author and have loved them all but this one is my new favorite. From the first introduction Lennon and Noah had my heart.

When I'm in the mood for a lighter book with lots of romance, KL Grayson is a go to for me. So I wasn't surprised that that's what I got with The Truth About Lennon.

Lennon is escaping a difficult situation at home, and finds herself in Heaven, Texas, where she meets- after a little mishap- Noah Cunningham. Noah is trying to raise his daughter, and doesn't have the time or energy to invest in any sort of relationship. But sometimes those are the best kinds.

Noah and Lennon are great for each other. They balance each other out, and grow throughout the story. And you can't help but fall for Noah's little girl!

This was quite enjoyable! I definitely recommend this!

This book is a clean romance. Its too vanilla. There is a plot but it does not have so many complex layers on it. There are some drugs abuse issue on heroine's past. There are a lot of steamy sex scenes. But what really stole my attention is the meet cute between Lennon and Noah. And I do agree that Noah is suppose to be sweet, swoony name for a hero. But instead we have a little dark, sexy, brooding hero.

Noah is a single father. He was burned once with his ex lover in the past. He swore off romance after that until his motorbike clashes with Lennon's car on a fateful night. Their 'accident' turns out to be meet cute. Lennon is portrays as kick ass heroine who does not wait for the hero to ask her out. She done it herself. But toward the end of the book, she becomes very needy and whinny. That's what I like less about this book.

Overall I do enjoy this book OK on a lazy afternoon.

Fun banter, great chemistry, and a sexy single dad. And that's just the beginning of The Truth About Lennon. Noah and Lennon are just so good together that you can't help but root for them. They're sweet and sexy and everything in between. We do, of course, have the required bit of angst, that bit of turmoil to test our couple. It's not hard to figure out where that turmoil is going to come from, but that lack of surprise didn't diminish my enjoyment of the story at all. The only thing I didn't care for in the story was that pivotal moment, that turning point when one of them realizes they've made a mistake, that they've acted rashly. It wasn't the moment itself, it was more the circumstances that brought about the realization. I'm trying not to give spoilers, so I'll just say that it felt a little shallow for that character. And that brings me to one of the things I loved most about this story. KL Grayson gives us some beautifully drawn characters in this book. Both Lennon and Noah are wonderfully developed, and the story is thoroughly engaging from start to finish. There's a kind of charm about the whole thing.
Then we come to the performance and make no mistake, it is a performance. Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross breathe life into these characters. Every emotion comes through in their voices, and before you know it, you're completely lost in Noah and Lennon's love story. There were a couple of points when the emotion is so strong that I was crying right along with the characters, and that's not something I do often. I love what this duo brings to each and every conversation, and their voices suit these characters perfectly. Everything, from the witty banter to the steamy fun to the emotional misunderstandings, it's all there in the performance. Kai Kennicott is great as Lennon. She brings out the frustration Lennon feels over her current situation as well as her nervousness about settling in Heaven, Texas. Then we have Wen Ross as Noah, and I'll just say that I'm pretty sure if you look up sexy male voice, you'll find a picture of Wen Ross. Holy moly, Noah is as sexy as sexy gets, and while Grayson's writing goes a long way into creating this hot single dad, Wen Ross' voice ramps it up a few notches more.
I really can't say enough about this story or the performance. It's all top-notch as far as I'm concerned, and I can't wait to check out more books by KL Grayson as well as more of Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. All three have fallen on my radar in a big way with The Truth About Lennon.

~ Single hot dad alert!
~ Must read!!!
~ Complete standalone

I am a huge fan of this author's writing and this book did not disappoint. It is written in a dual POV between Lennon and Noah. I instantly adored Lennon, she is strong and feisty. At first appearance, Noah comes across as a bit of a jerk but I instantly fell for him once I realized that was his defense mechanism. He is a single dad and his chemistry with Lennon is sizzling. Lennon comes to town hiding from a secret and you're kept on your toes throughout waiting to find out what it is.

KL has given us an easy, fun, and romantic read that will warm your heart and heal your soul. KL writes with humor, emotion and a heavy side of sass. This is a love story about choosing your own direction, taking chances and eventually finding home. I dare you to read this story and not come away with a huge smile on your face and your heart.

This was a sweet and steamy single dad romance. There is quite a bit of instalove between our hero and heroine, but they have great chemistry which made for some very sexy times. Noah was an incredible father, who always put his daughter's happiness and well being above anyone elses. As we learn about his past, it becomes clear why he is so resistant to relationships and opening up his heart again. He does overreact and make some poor decisions, but he truly believes it is for the best. It took me a bit to warm up to Lennon and though her heart was often in the right place, I did find her quite selfish, especially with her one-sided friendship with Charlotte and with her knowingly keeping secrets from Noah. I understand that she wanted him to know the real her, but the drama seemed contrived since she really did have plenty of opportunities to come clean and explain before everything hit the fan. In the end, this was still an entertaining read and I definitely recommend the audiobook narrated by Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott if you have the chance to listen to it.

I genuinely liked this book. I loved Lennon and Noah and Nova were awesome. I liked how this story started and unfolded, but one thing I didn’t quite get was how Noah made that initial leap.
I also liked the supporting cast of characters, mikey and Charlotte especially.
A great read
