THIS WOULD MAKE SUCH A GOOD LIMITED SERIES!

I somehow enjoyed this even though i struggled to get through most of it. i blame it partly on the ridiculously long chapters.
please for the love of god, authors stop writing 15-30 page chapters !!
anyways the atmosphere and {some} of the plot reminded me of The Secret History but if it were written from a teenage girl’s perspective. the last two chapters were especially dark and intriguing, i only wish the author included more of that throughout the novel.

if you like niche and dark teen girl drama, you might like this one? 🤷🏽‍♀️

This book is extremely predictable. The characters were lacking depth, and the supposed climax was extremely lackluster.
This felt like a teen angst television show were you’d be able to guess the plot after the first 3 minutes.
