Although a lot of plot didn't happen till the end,

nova and Adrians relationship became beautifully fleshed out.

with less focus on the plans, and The Sentinel, I think this one was better than the first. It definitely dived into the more emotional side of our characters, and it had me tense at every turn. I'm still stressed out about the ending. I'm not ready for the last book 😭

this was so good omg the last 1/4 of the book i literally could not put down. it was a little slow to start like the first book but oh boy it picked up very well towards the end. and the angst good lord just look at this quote

“i’m so sorry you had to be the enemy.” (pg 355)
