The pacing is very slow. It's a feel good book with some charming parts. There were many subplots which made it a bit confusing. In the end it all comes together. Overall the book was okay. I'm not sure if I'd read something else by this author.

Read this book for book club. It wasn't one I'd normally pick up but I am glad I did. Would I recommend it to a friend? Probably not. But it was a good, quick read for a flight.

I’m not much for anything related to the paranormal and I didn’t realize this book had any of that, but it does have a bit. Evidently not enough to make me dislike it. The characters were very likable, the storylines interesting, and overall an easy, enjoyable read.
