for an anthology purportedly centered on dark academia there's so little to really sit in your thoughts and think on. other than "how far can we stretch the confines of dark academia (but not in a fun genre bending way, just a cheap running towards a trend train way)" and "finally, fujoshi in higher education representation"

can't tell whether I'm annoyed or relieved that the best story by far was at the very end. a reward for not dnfing the book entirely (though astoundingly I did have to dnf a few of these <50pg stories) but I also was so tired perhaps I didn't enjoy it as much as I could. looking forward to trying her full length works.

I loved this collections of stories. Some of them were amazing and I would have liked to read a book version of them. Some of the stories were really short, only a couple of pages or so which was disappointing but overall I still really enjoyed.

Perfect for Halloween and really helped me get in the spooky vibe spirit.
