A cool biker lesbian as a main character plus a sexy love interest, with enemies to lovers and fake dating trope are supposed to be a match made in heaven, right?

But shame, because I don't really like Leo (the main character) that much. But the story and the ending are pretty cute tho, and I finally get why Leo is the way she is. I just hope their relationship can be explored more.

I think mostly this was a really cute graphic novel, it did start to go into too cheesy rather then cute cheesy for me. The art was really good, and the ending was sweet. Overall a really nice read.

I always mixed feelings when it comes to fake dating tropes. For starters, WHY WOULD NOT REPORT A STOLEN VEHICLE!! Second, getting revenge for being dumped by stealing property is so wrong in many different ways. I get that the plot is not driven in the practical sense but why not have communication! For Vega to say ‘Hey remember me the girl you dumped at 5 years old, yeah? So why work together on your people skills so can clearly communicate what you want in a relationship?”
I get it would be a lot smaller of a story but I HATE those story plots! Why can’t there be more healthy ways of communication from fictional characters to showcase that romance is does not have to be so toxic! I read it as the only way to love someone is to hate their guts and manipulate them into being a relationship with them. And then all of sudden they seemingly love each other?! I mean I can plot points of character growth from Leo and traits of Vega not being a bitchy. I just don’t get romance story like this one.
Some positive notes are the secondary characters Boots and Cass. The art work is amazing and reminds me of Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up with Me! So art good and trope questionable.
