I can’t believe I almost passed on getting this…yes, it’s yet another book with more POV chapters but let’s be real. It’s Darius and Orion. WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR?!?!
First off we had 2 chapters from Darius’s POV and a behind the scenes look at his power sharing with Tory and how it all came about. I loved seeing his unexplainable care about her even this early in the game, and his thoughts/feelings toward her during the power sharing? Yeah, there were flames all right!!
Next up we had chapters from Orion’s POV from both the party at the Acrux manor AND the sex ed class. The party POV and he and Darcy’s first kiss under the pool was honestly kind of heartbreaking. We love him for being the grumpy to her sunshine but it was totally different seeing how he viewed himself and his existence against Darcy’s brightness. As if we could add any more sweetness to their love…my heart. In perfect opposition of this was the sex ed class POV. Orion humor is the best humor and I absolutely LOVED everything about this chapter!!
Lastly from the ZA world we had POV of Darius waking up with Tory in his arms after the party setup, Tory’s revenge for the article, and then THAT scene in the Shimmering Springs. It was still hot, there was still so much power and emotion to it all, but my favorite part? THERE WAS ONLY HER. He thought it, I died, end of story.
Tagged on at the end was a second epilogue from Saint’s POV from the Kings of Quarantine series…now I haven’t actually read those books yet, but I DO know about the squid so this chapter had me laughing out loud right up until it had me going WHAT THE- I just…I have questions now.
All in all these were great additions and I am SO HAPPY I have them to read within my next reread of the ZA series. They all added additional layers in their own ways and I definitely recommend snagging a copy if you can!
The stars may be damned, but this still gets 5 of them⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Was it necessary? Nope. Did I enjoy it? Of course. Despite how fucking irritating and frustrating the Heirs are for the majority of this series, I love them all. I love all of the ZA content these assholes release for us to read, and I was more than happy donating to a good cause to get my hands on this.

I loved the bonus POV’s of this book. It was so much fun to see things from Darius and Orion’s perspective. I will be reading this while rereading Zodiac Academy in the future. Loved this so much.
