Loved the last half, but it was a little slow in the beginning. However, then I became very attached to the characters (Will Herondale, oh lord), and I really like the love triangle. This one didn't focus too much on the plot, but it was still great.

You cannot help but fall in love with these characters, and like Tessa says, you feel this strong desire to protect them from the world.

I absolutely LOVED this book. My love for Jem and Will continued to grow - although I'm still team Jem :)
In true Cassandra Clare fashion we're left with quite a cliff hanger at the end… I can't wait until March when the 3rd book comes out.

I loved all action in the book, learning more about Tessa and seeing her grow, unraveling the many many layers of Will, and falling deeper in love with Jem.

Intense, funny, and emotional - Cassandra Clare does it again!
