I was uncomfortable with the characters' romantic relationships and physical contact, their dabbling in demonic and dark magic, and MCs acting out of character to be more interesting or relatable.
Jem was too much of a gentleman to take advantage of Tessa need for romantic involvement. However, he was high at the time, and thus not as his right mind. But Tessa should have known better, in that case, than to take advantage of Jem's weakened state. They were both in a very compromising position being alone together in a dark bedroom in the middle of the night, so it's no wonder that things got sketchy. That entire scene made me very uncomfortable, so I couldn't justify reading further. Will's dealings with warlocks and demons just made my discomfort more reason to stop reading.
