Leichte Unterhaltung. Die Rollen zwischen Gut und Böse sind klar verteilt, die Heldin hat eine Engelsgeduld, am Ende wird alles gut (naja, weitgehend), und dauernd wird lecker Essen beschrieben. Kann man sicher gut mit an den Strand nehmen.

Someone described this as trashy crack lit and that really sums it up. The story is so fun and feels like you’re hearing all the gossip around the family and those who are connected. I really loved the snappy gossipy type writing. The story knows what it is, it is just pure silly, gossipy fun.

solid solid solid. lots of povs so there was always something happening. Now to watch the film on my next plane ride to compare.
