Initial thoughts: I read this like a book and it was delightful. I was stoked to see that all the recipes are things I would actually considered making.
I feel so weird sharing that I read a cookbook from back-to-front, and not even for the recipes. Snoop Dogg is hilarious and I quite enjoyed reading his summaries before each recipe.
But that's not the only thing I was fond of here: Every single recipe in this cookbook is something I would actually eat and consider making. I've never had a cookbook like that, and that is pretty damn cool.
The three things I was semi-surprised about with this one are:

The three things I was semi-surprised about with this one are:
- Snoop didn't write the step-by-step instructions. On one hand, maybe it's better this way because I would definitely become confused at least once if he hand. On the other hand, it would have been cool. To be fair though, I don't actually know if Snoop cooks or if he just collected these recipes. (Edit: I googled it and he does cook. I didn't watch his/Martha show and I really don't know much about Snoop himself outside of this book and a few music videos.)
- I have an idea on who I would like to give this book to, but I don't have a lot of faith that they would be willing to put so much work into a recipe. I mean, I totally am going to do it, but I can't quite picture them with food processors or biscuit cutters.
- There are no "special" recipes.
Oh, and almost every summary came with a drug reference. I assume this is just a Snoop thing? It felt kind of forced, but I realize that it's most likely because I'm not very familiar with Snoop Dogg.
Here's my favorite summary:
DOGGs in a Blanket
PIGS in a blanket? Nah, I don't really mess with the pigs like that. My dogs in a blanket are a different story. The Top Dogg has just the recipe to put those hot dogs to use. Forget throwin' 'em on the grill-these weenies never tasted better than they do when they're rolled up. And after you're done chowing down, you might need to roll up something else . . .
