This cookbook to me was more entertainment than anything. There are SOME complicated recipes but most are simple comfort foods. I could not care less about the restaurants he talks about (I'm sure he made some money off of the mentions) so that was dumb and I didn't really gain much that I didn't already know. But it was definitely entertaining and you can absolutely hear him saying everything you're reading which is great.

Good recipes are in this book. Some are more labor intensive than others so a nice mix. Everything from fried bologna sandwiches to lobster. In my head I could hear Snoop's voice. Loved him talking about cereal and candy. It took me back in time.

This is a very easy and approachable cookbook for people just starting to cook. Snoop makes it fun by adding little stories and even playlists for mealtimes.
