The story follows Landon, a man who has loved and lost. He’s a widower with a teenage daughter, and he locked his heart away when his wife died. So when Landon meets a beautiful woman in a bar, it’s just supposed to be a one night stand – even if they have a great connection. He’s not emotionally available for a relationship, and Elle is newly divorced with plenty of her own issues. But when Landon discovers that Elle is his new neighbor and his daughter’s new teacher, all of those good intentions fly out the window. They have the kind of chemistry that’s impossible to ignore, and they’re drawn together despite both of their hesitations. Their story started on a lie and she wasn’t asking questions prepared to start her new life as a divorcee but they soon learn of the repercussions.

She found her own worth. Her own strength. She found it in herself.

After how she was treated by ex husband and her family, that's a big thing.

Landon and Stella helped reinforce that belief by being themselves...even if Landon was an azzhole for a long part of it.

Doctor Heartless- Landon and Elle

I think the one we all want to know about. The twin of Luca, the single father.

Landon, like his family, is a Doctor but we don’t get a lot of that in this book unlike the first 2. This book takes place more at his home and Elle’s place of work and home. Different perspective I guess, although I love the hustle and bustle of the hospital.

So if you’ve read the first 2 books, we know that Landon is a single father. We don’t know any other details though so look away if you don’t want to know. His wife passed away when Stella was little and know Stella is 13. So many years have gone by but Landon is in a state of guilt and will not allow himself to be happy. The only thing he allows, on occasion, is a night of fun. So one night, when he is doing just that, he’s at a bar and sees a beautiful woman. He feels something for the first time but shuts that down. He pretends to be Luca and carries on with his fun night.

Elle has moved to Boston to start her new life. She was married to a pro golfer who treated her terribly and she is done. So she packs up, moves, divorces, gets a new job, a new place, and a new life. Easy, right? Not so much.
She meets a gorgeous guy and for the first time since her divorce, she wants to have fun. So that’s what she does..has a night of fun with Luca. Or so she thinks. So she is totally confused when she goes home and sees her neighbor, Landon on her porch. Boy, does he have a lot of explaining to do. Oh, did I also mention, Elle is going to be Stella’s teacher? Wow..what a mighty web we weave.

Another great read. Like I mentioned above, I do like the hospital atmosphere better but this was an ok change up. I will say, a lot of this plot is we try, won’t they, so that can get old fast. It’s sad what Landon had to go through and hated Elle’s family but glad to see they make it. Their chemistry was hot and they both needed each other. Good read.

another Fritz finds his HEA

Oh man, Landon Fritz likes to play that he is a Doctor Heartless but his grumpy exterior is no match to Elle. When they first meet at a hotel, she thinks he is Luca, his twin. Until the next day when Landon delivers a box to his new neighbor and oops its Elle. Oh man, Elle is sassy and as overcame so much. Her recent divorce and her family history is just bad. These two are hot and steamy. This book had me chuckling at the banter and sass that these two dole out. I cant wait for Luca’s story!!!!

September 2024 Audiobook review:
Stella Hunter with a Southern accent?! Omg. I am loving it! I’m still amazed on how any narrator switch voices so quickly. Connor Crais also does an amazing job. I love all the voices that are done to reflect each character.
