This is one sexy historical romance. I mean we start with a passionate night, that ends in a surprising revelation for our heroine. The plot is hilarious at times in a way that only a historical romance could be. I think the improper wife part makes it feel more modern, but with historical elements. I enjoyed Caroline's strong spirit, and how she just went after what she wanted, yet she has very realistic insecurities. Taran is all over the place, but I really grew to liked him as the story went on. Overall, it's a fun jaunt with secrets, villains, and sexy, sexy times.

I'm not normally a fan of Regency Romance but I must admit that the title drew me in when I saw it on a friend's reading list. To my surprise it started out hot from the get-go and the fact that I needed to know what was to come next was definitely a selling point. The characters are very endearing and Taran is all male, all alpha and sexy as can be. Two plots in this story that co-incide quite nicely add to the suspense which is always appreciated. This is not your normal regency love/virgin/proper etiquette where you want to strangle the woman for being such a prude. I definitely recommend this book :D
