Not impressed with the subject in the book, ok, Grisham is able to create some very interesting characters and he knows how to make a story gripping - but no, nothing for me, I leave it to middle aged man, 2 of them recommended the book to me ;-)

Unfortunately, this book did not age well. What a difference 23 years makes in politics, technology, and views on sexuality. Whew. It was interesting enough to finish, but it made the year 2000 seem really far away.

I took this on vacation like I do all of his books. They are of enough length and substance to be interesting but don't require much thought or concentration. For this reason they are my vacation go-to's along with a few other authors. This one didn't disappoint given the above parameters. An interesting story that held my attention.

Favorite part about this book was when the presidential race began.
