If you haven't read the first book Bloody Princess yet don't read this review it has spoilers from that book.
This picks up right where we left Lyric. Lyric is still trying to wrap her head around what Jude had told her about Lyssa being his sister. Lyric's relationships start to blossom with Keats and Atlas while Thayer's relationship with Lyric gets complicated. Jude just wants to get rid of her all together. Melody and Lyric's relationship is getting strained and nothing seems to be adding up anymore. Everything is up in the air and all Lyric knows is she isn't going to back down from anything; whether that be Pi Ep pledging, joining the Regent, being the daughter she's been taught to be, anything Jude throughs at her, and whats going on other wise.
This cliffy was rough I am needing book three like yesterday! I love Lyric and this story with the boys so much! I am super invested and the story has captivated me! I am amazed with where it will go and to see the boys come to Lyric's side and for the rest of the story to play out.

Okay okay let’s talk. This is the second book in this series & man did the promise to get darker & more intense DELIVER! I loved that we got a bit more info on Lyric’s father & the struggles she has gone through. I felt that this really helped to grow the connection to these characters. I also loved getting to see the dynamics between Lyric & the guys shift. I seriously love these characters so much!
This book gave me all the feels. The character development is finally shining through & the plot kept me intrigued. I honestly cannot wait to see what happens & just how everything plays out. I also loved that we are starting to see the protectiveness over Lyric from her guys… LIVING FOR IT!
Honestly you guys this plot is sooo good. I love the balance of romance & mystery. I always wanted to know what was gonna happen next & nothing has been made super obvious. The ending for this book gave us the perfect set up for what’s to come & I am so excited! I’m seriously eating this series up!!

That cliffy killed me. I’m dying to see what happens and what the heck is going on that melody needs to lie. Like ugh what?!? Also I feel for lyric breaks my heart man. I love this series!!
