Holy crap! One, that ending! So rude, cause now I have to wait for the next book. But holy crap. This book is where the tone changed, and I have a feeling we still have way more story to go. I love seeing Sophie’s change in this book. Still fluctuate between tolerating Fitz and despising him with a burning passion. LOVE Ro! And Keefe!!! Omg Keefe ❤️ God, I need book 10 now. But until then, I think I’m seriously about to reread this entire series

well... the first 400 pages were a 1.5 stars but the last 328 pages was 5 stars. what the hell, shannon?
dear lord this series should have ended 6 books ago
This is a cute book for preteens who are into elves, but book was basically a 700 page recap of the other 8(!) books, musings on crushes/love triangles, sitting around and waiting for the action to happen, then a letdown of a cliffhanger for the ending. Read this on kindle.

This is a great book that I definitely recommend to readers interested in an adventurous fantasy. (But read the beginning of the series first!) ;)
