My favorite of the series. And now it’s a real cliff hanger because the next book isn’t here yet! I started the series after 9.5 came out, so I haven’t had to wait or reread to remember where we were! Dang. Now I understand my kid’s struggle!

This takes like an eternity just to get over the extremely slow rising action (and not to talk about how Shannon Messenger basically chopped the whole plot off from the climax just to get a good cliffhanger - like, seriously?? didn't even bother writing a whole plot and just filled it in with random Sophie troubles)
