I loved this book so much!
It's been a while since I've had this feeling reading a KOTLC book, I think this one might be one of my favorite of the series (I have to say that I don't really remember my others favorites, but yeah).
I was a bit scared because the last 2-3 books were meh, a lot of pages for nothing. I still think that the author could have gone way faster but at the same time I understand why she took her time.
This book is definitely more a YA than a MG, it's way more darker and we talk about a lot of serious subjects. Besides, now Sophie is 16 so not really a surprise.
I think the plot is coming to an end, I'm not saying that the tenth book will be the last in the series but maybe the last with these villains (I really hope so tbh).

I loved Sophie's new attitude, go for it girl! She was more relatable (to me) in this book, I began this series when I was 13-14 and now I'm 20 so it might be weird. But I wish I could have read this book when I was 16, because the way Sophie overthinks made me think of me.
I read it during the holidays and I feel like this is one of the best moments of the year to read this series. I'm so excited for book 10 and I really hope we won't have to wait too long for it.
