I really don't like to write in-depth reviews, specifically because everything I usually want to say has been said a million times before, but holy fucking shit.
Like the other two books in this trilogy, it starts off unbearably slow and confusing—but the minute that tension begins to rise and the pieces begin to snap together, Rivera hits you with absolutely everything that she has, and the bruises will be fresh and sore for months after. Complete, horrifying insanity, action-packed, tense, emotional, and a gorgeous ending to one of my favorite series. I don't know if I want to applaud you or scorn you forever, Rivera.
