Never has a book sung to my soul, nor pulled the strings of my heart, such as this. Warrior Moon is the conclusion to a story so full of love and of tragedy; of hope and of laughter; of pain and of despair; of darkness and of brilliant dawn. This is the story of finding oneself, as frightening and confusing and euphoric as that can be, surrounded by so much life, and by so much death.
Rivera has crafted a beautiful world, with a cast of truly endearing characters. Her prose and storytelling are delightful. I cannot recommend her books enough.

and finally, the end. a pretty good tale, all in all, but i found it a little wanting in comparison to other epic-style stuff i've read recently. i love a good theme and how things come full circle, but i couldn't really see that here.
still an entertaining read for the prose and how it lent itself to the story and world-building.
