I just don't like the spiritualism of the book, but other than that, there are some good advice I can work it.

I want to buy this book for every single one of my girl friends. Try it on audible - loved Jen Sincero's narration, she's hilarious!

jen sincero is an amazing writer who allows you to really see and comprehend the information she’s putting out in your own perspective while also giving you several other perspectives. i read the original “you are a badass” and every word of these books are relatable in some way, shape, or form. with YAB at making money: you will walk away feeling more confident than ever for going after your big dreams and goals in life. i’m a small business owner and i swear after i started reading it was like a switch went off and i kicked it into to overdrive..ideas started pouring in, strategies for going after money improved (and successfully worked!), and i’ve really changed the way i view money. money is my bestie and i absolutely love it when we hang out!

Some of Jen Sincero’s advice was useful, but ultimately, the whole thing wasn’t as helpful or practical as I was expecting. I don’t have an unhealthy view of money, but my life goals don’t involve becoming filthy rich. And frankly, she completely ignores the fact that wealth often turns into greed and exploitation of others.

Furthermore, her advice just isn’t practical for everyone. As a writer and business owner, I could relate to advice that many others couldn’t.

I walked away with things I liked. I enjoyed the guided journaling exercises. I laughed aloud at an anecdote about her mother. But ultimately, I don’t feel very enriched by this book.

I don’t think I am the right audience for this book but there were a few good nuggets in there that I could relate to.
