Picked up on a whim and had an incredible time. Characters are gripping, helped by unique written perspectives. The world is dense with lore and while heavy with exposition, wasn't overwhelming. Will be eagerly awaiting any sequels.

Was this a 'great book'? Meh, the plot could be muddled at times and I didnt love the additional povs other then our main 2. However... I NEED BOOK 2 AND I NEED IT NOW. It was fun, the magic was cool, and I enjoyed all the characters for the most part.
