In most romance novels you meet the couple at the beginning of the book and the story is all about them finding their way to each other before the end. In this story there are two different guys the main woman is in love with in her life and up until the very end of the epilogue I was not sure who she was going to have her happily ever after with.

I read Alison Greenberg’s first book, Bad Luck Bridesmaid, and I enjoyed this one immensely more. The character development felt more fully fleshed out and believable. I enjoyed the main character’s growth and arc, and I liked that the people around her all had their own arcs. There were lots of very real issues that this book raised and explored through the main and secondary characters, and that made the book memorable and significant.
