Quick sunday read. Started reading this without even reading the blurb. I feel like if I did, and knew what to expect, I would have liked it even less. The ending felt very rushed and abrupt. Wish there was a bit more. There were some really powerful lines. The jumping between times every chapter didn’t really allow enough time for me to be completely pulled into the characters’ journey.

Loved this story. Admittedly, I had trouble in the beginning keeping up with where we were in the story. I think that’s mostly because I was listening. I love how the story had a lot of twists and turns and I never knew for sure how it was going to end (that rarely happens in romance books, right?). Love it it ended and her personal growth.

Romance with complex characters. I loved all the late 1990s and early 2000s music references. Sometimes it got a little confusing since there were multiple timelines.
