It’s a nice change to read a book with a twist I never expected. Very well written and the characters are excellently portrayed. Not an easy book to read as it tackles a very emotionally charged topic in an unconventional way, which left me feeling rather torn as to my moral opinion toward the actions of the characters.

This novel truly gives you all the feels! I loved it so much! This novel had me thinking long and hard about my actions and encouraged me to have some deep conversations with my teenagers. Actions have consequences but so do words...actions hurt and words do too. Choose your actions and words wisely and with love. Well written Jodi Picoult

This is the best book I’ve read all year, I wish I had read it earlier and will be thinking about it for a very long time. This is one of those stories that changes the way you think, and offers much to empathize with and reflect on, in deeply personal ways as well as towards society as a whole.
