Comic book version
I enjoyed the shorts in the end :-D
I didn't enjoy the story that much. Also, the art isn't my favorite.

Rivers of London makes a jump to graphic novels. So while the main series is still ongoing Ben Aaronvitch also started to write graphic novels for the series and I think this first one was okay. A large part of my liking of the series comes from Peter's internal monologue which is entirely absent here. The story itself is not the worst thing in the world and I am curious to see his later attempts at a graphic novel but this first one left much to be desired.

My rating system
1 - Did not enjoy
2 - Not irredeemable but has too many flaws to say I enjoyed
3 - Enjoyed it
4 - Great book but didn't love it
5 - Amazing book

I'm not totally a fan of graphic novels, but I am a fan of Rivers of London and Ben Aaronovitch and Peter Grant. This was a lot of fun, as Peter and Nightingale rush to figure out what's going on with a rash of apparently haunted & magical cars.
