The boys are so sweet, getting Dinah a present
It’s incredible to me that we are able to see the character growth of Dinah just from the brief glimpse of her out shopping
I don’t think I’ll ever get used to short-haired Dinah
The history and backstory of Addie Clark is wonderful!
Some things have been explained yet there is still so much left unanswered
The return of the ghosts!!
From here on out things get weird

In this book, Dinah finally meets Adelaide, and they must work together to save Bizenghast from an evil that requires full lockdown of the mausoleum. Edrear and Edaniel have no clue what to do or what's happening, but it somehow involves their sister Eniri, who seems to have killed their other sister Elala.
The story is really picking up from the previous, "Meet ghost. Help ghost. Repeat" format, and Edrear's feelings for Dinah are obviously growing. I have few qualms with the plot, but the artwork is at times actually distracting. Periodically, there's an absolutely stunning page followed by a panel (or page) that looks like a first draft sketch. The contrasting quality of the art really takes away from an otherwise great manga-style book. This is not unique to this book, I should add; the entire series has this problem. Also, Adelaide had an awful lot of buildup, and I thought her final presence was a bit anticlimactic. Otherwise, it's even better than the last few.
