in chapter 6 steph tells daisy she’s bi
in chapter 24 “Daisy leans in, whispering. "I thought you were gay, actually. Was kinda hoping you and Flor would be a thing." Oh boy. Daisy's more observant than I give her credit for. "I'm bi," I whisper back”
BUT SHE ALREADY KNEW ??? THIS WAS ALREADY ESTABLISHED ?

Love it

It's Ruby Dixon. It's blue alien dudes. It's Not-Hoth. I'm a big fan. Nobody is surprised. I'm glad Steph found someone to care for her, and put her first.

Such a sweet book. There’s finally a couple who get along for most of the book, with little miscommunication. Or rather, the miscommunication trope is not very prevalent in this book. I’m so happy to see Outcast clan get a happy ending. Makes me wonder if Long Tail is actually dead, or if we’ll see them in the future, too?

I really liked this one. I loved reading about Steph, Juth, and Pak. They're the sweetest and most gentle characters.

It was sad reading about how Juth and Pak had no one until Steph came along, even amongst the other outcasts when they were alive and felt they couldn't accept anything or even make a simple fire to stay warm. I was so happy to see Juth and Pak finding a family and some acceptance towards the end of this book.

I can't wait to get into Sam's Secret and find out what exactly her secrets are and of course to finally get Sessah's story. I've been waiting the whole series to get to this book, wanting to see Sessah finally get to resonate and get his happy ending.

I'm also excited to see how the icehome tribe pieces things back together after their home was destroyed.

Overall this was a really good book. And I can't wait to get into the next one.

An interesting read!

It makes me sad to read all the low reviews on this book based solely on homophobia. For me, this read is likely more of a 4-4.5, but I absolutely love the added representation of a Bi character, so that bumped it up to a 5.
