Disney's Frozen comes to an easy reader format.

If you are familiar with the movie story line, this book retells the story. The snowmen are mentioned but they are not the stars of the book. As stated previously, the story of Frozen is retold. The wording of the retelling highlights opposites (happy/sad, on/off, in/out, etc). It's a fine book for early readers or for Frozen admirers.

Slightly cuter than Anna's Best Friends - but still three stars only for Mini-Me's sake.

An extremely condensed version of the movie. Cute, but missing a lot of the detail that made the movie enjoyable. Perfect for beginner readers, but if they're familiar with the movie (as so many of the intended age group are) then they may not enjoy the book. My niece likes it for the pictures, but has mentioned several times that she doesn't like that they skipped the trolls (and other parts).

not bad for a step 1 reader!

It does teach opposites but I don’t like the way it does it. There isn’t a storyline which could potentially be fine in an opposites book...but it isn’t just clearly showing the opposites in single words either.

This book was a nice simply written adaptation of the movie (which my daughter loves and has seen twice) Great illustrations throughout. We will likely buy a copy of this one for our shelves quite soon.

I was honestly impressed by this Disney easy reader. Usually, they're are completely out of tune with the purpose of easy readers: to be able to be read by children alone or with some help. This book, however, mostly avoided complicated words, introduced opposite terms throughout, and rhymed!

Cute, colorful, and simple without being condescending or uninteresting for the adult who's probably reading it to the little kid.
