this book was really good don’t get me wrong! rick riordan always kills it with the writing and the realism amidst fantasy and makes really intriguing characters, plots, and narratives and this book absolutely included and nailed all of those. HOWEVER, this book in my opinion felt a little like a filler book? like a side quest for the trio with the main conflicts sprinkled in. regardless, still a stellar book, a stellar series, all written by a stellar author.

Reread 

Ich weiß, dieser Band ist irgendwie nicht so beliebt, aber mir gefällt er trotzdem sehr gut. Ich mag die Reise durchs Meer der Monster, die Stationen der Odyssee, das Vertiefen der Beziehung zwischen Percy und Annabeth, TYSON, Clarisse (Entschuldigung, was für eine coole Antagonistin ist sie bitte?!) und vor allem wie Percy mit seiner "Hybris" konfrontiert wird 😍.
