One of the wholesome books from his collection, it’s so sweet and also from his personal experiences:-)
Definitely a school age book on the subject of stuttering and popularity. You don't see the author set the protagonist as a female much. There is a good deal of teen angst filled with much of Oshimi's signature sweaty angst filled rage against the world.

I couldn't help but feel emotional on the course of reading this manga. It's just so raw and relatable and, everything about it. It's not that easy to express oneself and let people see your entire being and what's inside, but Shuzo Oshimi did it expertly with his powerful hands. Like always.
I think, this is going to be my favorite Oshimi book. I mean, I love his psychological horror series, but I feel intimately connected to him with this one. And the afterword just made me cry. I understand Oshimi, and thank you for baring yourself to let us know we're not alone. Thank you for breathing.
Thank you.
Note: By the way, now I'm super anxious. Did she get married to Kikuchi? Lol, I mean, I dunno but I ship them!!

Excuse my poor written review but I'm just starting to do reviews, I'll get better in time. I put spoilers tags because I couldn't do a review without explaining some bits.
Thank you for reading.
At first, I was intrigued with the story and going in blind into what the Manga was about, I loved the mystery behind the reason for Shino and her inability to say her name. After I read the part with Kayo slapping her and just the way the author dipicited harsh interaction between the two, had me a bit thrown a back.
Turned me off but however I kept reading until the end. It could have been better in my opinion, especially Kayo being the one Shino opened up too, Kayo was too harsh most the time or too impatient. Bullies? Understandable but we were shown Kayo not falling into the bully category, yet that's how I felt.
The ending felt extremely rushed, however, overall, the story is great and brings into light what the authors real message for the Manga is about but could have been executed just a bit more clear. </Spoiler>

Japanese manga has this thing about slapping people into realizing something important that just never sits well with me. This has a scene like that and it feels extra icky, but the rest of the story was still strong.
