Part 1 was difficult for me because of a specific content warning I wasn't aware of

rape of a young child

. My enjoyment went up in part 2 and 3, but I wish there were Mya POVs and the time hops were confusing. I also felt like the way things wrapped up at the end took away from the impact the book could of had. I would be interested in reading the authors future work.
