Funny, perfectly age appropriate for K-2 in tone, language and humor.

Roscoe Riley is one of those kids who can't help getting in trouble because his curiosity gets the best of him. But his heart is in the right place...i.e. he's not a little jerk who's going to drive parents crazy.

Proves the point that just because it's for a young reader doesn't mean you can't love it. And I did.

My first grade students LOVED this book. Good thing I bought two copies of the entire series. Can't keep them on the shelf.

The whole time I was reading this I could hear the voice some of my nephews and one of my great nieces. Definitely nailed the voice of a very active child.

DYING! In the best possible way. I cracked up throughout the book, literally laughing out loud! My boys (8&9) loved it too. It was so fun to read and laugh together!

Great beginning chapter book for first grade boys especially! Chapters are about a page, which aids confidence. I enjoyed Roscoe. He was acting with good intentions, if not always the best judgement.
