Well I read that book for school and it was certainly interesting, it just wasn't my type of story. If you think it sound's interesting I'd give it a try!

Bleak yet beautiful, The Curious Incident is difficult to put down after you start. The prose moves swiftly as our protagonist's mind does. Christopher is well realised and we empathise with him despite his inability to return the favour to the other characters in his life.

The enthralling murder mystery premise smoothly morphs into a tale about family and its dysfunctions, while also being ceaselessly loving. Haddon creates a deeply satisfying and complex masterpiece that is for both children and adults.

The quirky, witty writing in this story made for an interesting read. The main character was lovable, and since he falls on the Autism Spectrum the topic interested me on a personal level. A quick and enjoyable book!

This is another book I think my opinion of will change over time as I reflect on it. I might review it in the future. Mark Haddon makes you think doesn't he!?
