Did not expect it guess the twist at the end which was great! But I did feel like it could have done with a bit more resolution for all of the characters at the end.

There's no denying how entertaining this book was (except for the first 50 pages or so that dragged with introduction). This book will be great for those who don't read often but love thriller/mystery movies. It reads like Clue but with hot topic issues. I thought the alternating POVS on top of the alternating timelines would annoy me, but I didn't find it confusing or obnoxious. Ultimately though, it lost two stars because of how predictable and painfully convenient the whole situation was.

I'm gradually adding books I've read in 2021 to give a true reflection of the books I've read since keeping records.  This was the first book I read in 2021, and is what kick-started my reading journey having put reading on the back burner whilst bringing up the children, previously being an avid reader.  It's the usual thriller type you'd expect from the author concerning a wedding on a remote island, where the guests gather, old friends, grudges, jealousy, family dramas, one body and the murderer still on the Island. A cracking thriller/mystery

Very entertaining, finished it fast, loved the details provided (I live my rich life vicariously through books) didnt see the twist coming, 100x better than The Hunting Party

The ”big twist” was rather obvious I felt. However, the ”smaller twists” along the way still made the book intriguing. Great scenery and I like that the characters were not perfect but all had their own problems and flaws.
