The American vampire. Crass and common, violent and ferocious, he's different than the European breed. Cowboys vamps and young starlets thrust violently into this harsh, bloody underworld, this book is damn good. The art is great and the parallel stories are fun, the birth and first rampage of the American vampire and his first protegee. In fact, I think I'll crack volume 2 right now...

This had some cool art and a pretty interesting mix of stories. They were all a little shorter than I would have liked. But overall I enjoyed it.
