Big Magic was such a fun read. It offers a light perspective to the creative being, in opposition to the "suffering artist" path. My biggest take-aways are: be a trickster, blaming the system is boring and overdone- to stay sane in your work you need to find a way to be resilient, and it is not the world's fault you want to create. Don't let the difficulty of "making it" rob you of the joy of the process.
