I'm getting more and more into this series despite my feeling that some bizarre things are thrown in just for shock value. However, it is certainly interesting. I like that although Sam is the leader, he needs his friends' help in order to make things work. The religious angle that came out in this one interests me, as I can't tell where it's going. As out-there as this series is, I am looking forward to finding out what happens.

An interesting reading, although not as exciting and intriguing as the previous books. I don't care much about Astrid, but I was confused about her portraying in this book... For someone that is supposed to be smart, her actions were kind of dumb... I felt like the author treated her unfairly.

Another compelling trip into the FAYZ.

I'm really attached to a lot of these characters and hate others with a fury.

I'm now half way through the Gone series and plan to finish it next year.

So so so good. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. It’s so easy to read, you can’t put it down. You get transported into the story. I think these books will always be my reread to get me out of a slump book because these remind me why I love reading. This book had alot of answers , there’s still questions. But the figuring out what’s going on and the twists are so good. I will always recommend this series !

This was my least favourite instalment in The Gone Series. Grant manages to build the FAYZ world more, with characters like Little Pete, Nerezza, Zil, and Orsay; but the pacing of this book is WAY slower than the others, this is why I found it a bit tiring to read. Nevertheless, the character development in Lies is amazing. Mother Mary feels like a real person with real problems, the Human Crew (they majorly suck) feel like real immature children. I really liked the personal problems the characters had to overcome.

As for the plot, as I said, it’s a bit slow. Since the story takes place in less time than the other instalments, the focus on every little thing every time something happens gets tiring after a while. The final battle, I might say, was epic. I loved it. I really can’t wait to read the next book!

Not as good as the others in my opinion but still a great read.

I'm keeping this short since it's 4 a.m.

I'm marathoning the series and I gotta say, Michael Grant has greatly outdone himself. I've really relished this book. In my opinion, this was by far the best book in the series (my opinion might change after reading the remaining books, who knows?). This book made me love Sam even more and hate Drake even more. Overall, this is a thrilling, thought-provoking and adventure-packed novel that disrupted my normal sleep routine. So excited to read the fourth installment!
